Die Nachbarschaftshilfe Idstein wurde 1997/98 als gemeinnütziger Verein unter dem Namen „Bürgerhilfe Idstein – Generationen füreinander e.V.“ von Idsteiner Bürgerinnen und Bürgern gegründet, die ehrenamtlich bereit sind, einander zu helfen – ungeachtet ihres Alters, ihrer Religion, ihrer politischen Überzeugung oder ihrer Nationalität. Der Verein versteht sich als Plattform für Nachbarschaftshilfe, unbürokratisch, wirkungs- und vertrauensvoll.

Seit Februar 2020 trägt der Verein den Namen „Nachbarschaftshilfe Idstein – Generationen füreinander e.V.“

Der Verein verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige und mildtätige Zwecke im Sinne des Abschnitts „Steuerbegünstigte Zwecke“ der Abgabenordnung. Der im Zweijahresrhythmus gewählte Vorstand wird unterstützt von Mitgliedern, die bei der Organisation der Aktivitäten helfen, z.B. in Form von Arbeitsgruppen.

Neben den Dienstleistungen ist dem Verein das soziale Miteinander besonders wichtig. Er fördert das gesellschaftliche Beisammensein in vielen Veranstaltungen, Ausflügen u.v.m.

Mittelverwendung

Mittel des Vereins dürfen nur für satzungsgemäße Zwecke verwendet werden. Die Mitglieder erhalten keine Zuwendungen aus den Mitteln des Vereins. Es darf keine Person durch Ausgaben, die dem Zweck der Körperschaft fremd sind, begünstigt werden.
